Osprey Adventures

Osprey Adventures is the dream of Rafe Hooper who has spent his life exploring the Kennebecasis River system. His vision is to share this wonderful rich ecosystem with you.

Explore the Kennebecasis marshlands and enjoy a variety of wildlife and flora. We have a number or canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards to allow you to experience this amazing area. Enjoy a solitary paddle or engage one of our expert guides to give you a comprehensive histroy of the area and describe the diversity of life that exists in the marshlands.

“I have paddled the Kennebecasis River system for the past 40 years. In my opinion we that the best kept secret in New Brunswick. The river is tidal and the freshwater marsh is one of the largest and most diverse of its kind. The abundant wildlife, diverse water fowl population and various birds of prey make this river system a fascinating place to explore”

Erosion causes caves and caves are fun to explore, especially in a kayak or hiking boots – not at the same time! Before you are swallowed up by the cavernous rocks you can soak up coastal vistas and soaring birds while your guide interprets life in a rural community on the Bay of Fundy. You’ll be surprised to learn that the geology of the area played an integral role in determining how folks settled here.
